Amr Belal

Managing Partner & Cofounder - PGME/PGSE

Amr Belal co-founded Powergreen in 2009, following a decade at IBM. First in the USA, where he launched a global Business Process Management services practice. He later moved to Qatar, where he grew IBM's software business by over 700% in the span of four years, onboarding major clients such as Qatar Airways, RasGas, Qatar Petroleum, and others. Today, Amr leads Powergreen’s strategy and partnerships, drawing on a unique blend of IT and renewable energy expertise. He holds a BSc in Computer Information Systems and Accounting from The Ohio State University.

Hussein El Deeb

Managing Partner & Cofounder - PGSE

With more than 25 years of experience in the global energy sector, Hussein has built a career defined by leadership and strategic growth at iconic organizations. He began as an engineer at the German technology provider Endress+Hauser, before joining the world's second-largest energy service provider “Halliburton” for a 16-years journey full of challenging missions, experiences and achievements. Over his career at Halliburton, Hussein assumed various roles across different regions before being appointed Country Manager for Egypt in 2013. In this role, he was responsible for an unprecedented period of growth, achieving a new revenue record of over half a billion EGP and doubling the market share. In 2016, Hussein shifted his focus to renewable side of energy, by joining forces with Powergreen (Innovations Unlimited EG at that time), successfully developed a number of projects in Egypt and the region. Then He co-founded Powergreen for Sustainable Energy; where he leads the company to be an effective player in the green transformation efforts and delivering clean, renewable energy to the world. Hussein holds an Engineering BS.c. from Alexandria University and a “Business Leadership” Degree from Texas A&M University.
